HSQ1:  How do I sign up for classes at RJTC if I am a high school student?

A: You can sign up through your high school counselor when you are making up your schedule for the next school year. This process can begin as early as January or February for the school year that begins in August. If you have specific questions, you can also contact RJTC at 304-372-7335 or email RJTC's administrators, Mr. Layhew or Mr. Cummings.

HSQ2:  Many of your brochures say that students can earn free college credits through the EDGE program. How does that work?

A: EDGE stands for "Earn a Degree - Graduate Early" and is a program where stduents can earn FREE college credit for some of the courses they are taking in high school. If a student enrolls in a course that is eligible for EDGE credit, he or she must meet certain grade requirements during the class, which the instructor will review. Other than filling out paperwork, the student receives free college credit for a course they have taken while still in high school. HSQ3:  I've received EDGE credit for my classes at RJTC.  If I'm going on to college, how do I get my EDGE credit to transfer?

A:  You must visit the EDGE website to request an EDGE transcript be sent to the college or university.  You may also want to request a copy of your EDGE transcript for your own records.  Then you can take this copy with you when you meet with your college advisor about your class schedule.

HSQ4:  Does your PC  Repair Class actually repair computers?
