Students in this course will be involved in various projects including housing construction, cabinetry, roofing, plumbing, and electrical work. Students will also be trained in Masonry which will include: foundations and footings; jointing and pointing; form construction; and brick and block laying. Successful completion of this program will provide individuals with the basic work skills required for entry into the building trades. Prerequisites and Other Notes: The Association of General Contractors accredits the General Building Construction program. |
