Mrs. Young |
| |
Mrs. Donita Young has been with Roane-Jackson Technical Center for seventeen years and has served the school in several capacities. She was a teacher in the Practical Nursing program for twelve years and the Program Coordinator five years. She has been the HOST instructor for five years and an adjunct professor for WVU-P. Mrs. Young has a degree in Nursing from Alderson Broaddus College and a Master’s in Education from Marshall University. She is also certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Medical Surgical Nurse. Her nursing experience includes Hospice, Home Health, Roane General Hospital Nursing Supervisor and private duty. Mrs. Young has been awarded the National Health Occupation Students of America Advisor of the Year. She feels the youth of our nation are highly motivated and willing to learn, which is a great thing because these students are the future of our healthcare system and our world. |
