Prospective students wishing to enroll in the Practical Nursing program need to take pre-admission test by the end of March. The cost of the Nurse Entrance Test (NET) is $40.00. Click here for upcoming test dates or contact Mrs. Gibson at 304-372-7335 to schedule a time. Candidates who score in the 60th percentile or higher need to fill out an application (requires Acrobat Reader® to view, fill out, and print). Candidates need to submit the completed application along with a high school transcript, or GED diploma along with three (3) personal references to Mrs. Gibson.
Certified Nursing Assistants are given a waiver for 120 hours, if accepted. The TOEFL exam is required for non-U.S. residents.
Once all paper work is received, the LPN Coordinator and/or faculty members will conduct a personal interview. Upon notification of acceptance, students must submit a $100.00 nonrefundable sitting fee.
Classes begin in July and follow the RJTC LPN school calendar. Class hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. five days a week. Clinical hours may vary. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Click here for more information about the program. |
