Net Price Calculator |
The purpose of the calculator is to help current and prospective students, families, and other consumers estimate the individual net price of an institution of higher education for a student. The calculator shall be developed in a manner that enables current and prospective students, families, and consumers to determine an estimate of a current or prospective student's individual net price at a particular institution.
These estimates do not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net price; they are only estimates based on price of attendance and financial aid provided to students in 2009-10. Price of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year. These estimates shall not be binding on the Secretary of Education, the institution of higher education, or the State.

Financial Aid Sources |
Roane-Jackson Technical Center encourages potential post-secondary students to explore the many opportunities for financial aid. There are several sources of grants that can help with the costs of attendance for which prospective students may be eligible. Grants do not have to repaid, unlike loans, if a student successfully completes their course of study. For a quick reference, feel free to print out RJTC’s Financial Aid brochure or review the information provided below. |

Workforce Investment Act (WIA) |
The WV Bureau of Employment Program has funding available through the WIA. This program benefits those individuals who are unemployed, dislocated, or in need retraining that reside in Roane, Jackson, and surrounding counties and meet the income guidelines. This funding can be used to cover expenses that are not covered by a Pell Grant, such as a weekly training allowance, tuition for all full-time classes, books, tools, and supplies.
To apply contact your local WORKFORCE West Virginia Career Center to set up an appointment for WIA eligibility. You will meet with a WIA case manager who will guide you through the process. For this area, call 1-304-424-7271 for Region 4 Case Manager (Calhoun, Clay, Jackson, Mason, Pleasants, Roane, Ritchie, Wirt, and Wood Counties). |
