Roane-Jackson Technical Center is dedicated to improving students’ academic and workplace skills while preparing them for post-secondary education and/or the work force by providing meaningful technical training and skills for a lifetime with support from business, industry, and the community.

Roane-Jackson Technical Center is accredited by the North Central Association on School Improvement. The Center serves secondary students from Ravenswood, Ripley, and Roane County High School and also adults from a wide area of west-central West Virginia.

At Roane-Jackson Technical Center you can choose from 16 secondary career and technical programs. In addition, Math, English, and Civics classes are available for all secondary students. The Center also offers two full time post-secondary programs along with specialized evening courses.
